Inside, the Helium 8K sensor delivers native 8K resolution at up to 60fps, giving productions the resolution headroom to fill a dome or giant screen without visible pixel structure, even after aggressive reframing in post. Full camera control underwater — focus, iris, zoom, and REDMOTE access — means operators can react in real time to fast-moving subjects like sharks or marine mammals without surfacing or compromising the shot. Together, the rig lets a single underwater operator deliver cinema-grade, giant-screen-ready footage that would otherwise require far bulkier or more specialized equipment.
